About Zoila

My name is Zoila Consuelo Garcia Coj, and I was born in small town in Guatemala called San Jorge La Laguna. I’m the fourth of eighth children, and although my parents didn’t have the opportunity to attend college, they always stressed the importance of education, and worked hard to give my siblings and me the chance to study. Last year I became the first woman from my town to graduate from law school.
